The SUREFIRE M300 ULTRA SCOUT flashlight can be easily mounted on any long weapon that has a Picatinny or MIL-STD 1913 rail. The flashlight's maneuverability is excellent due to its miniature dimensions. The flashlight does not take up much space on the rail, leaving room for other accessories. A big plus is that, at only 116 g, it does not increase the weight of the weapon too much.
The light source is a powerful LED. It is virtually immune to failure, as there is no filament to burn out or burst. TIR (Total Internal Reflection) technology creates a cone of light with very good reach and peripheral light for short and medium-term use. The maximum luminous flux is 500 lumens . The continuous lighting time is 1 hour.
The body of the flashlight is made of aircraft-grade aluminum and is resistant to corrosion and wear. The IPX7 protection level says it all. The lens of the flashlight is made of tempered glass with maximum light transmission and special protection against scratches .
The M300 MINI SCOUT comes with a foot switch only. Half-press to activate temporary lighting and full-press to activate permanent lighting.
