History of the ZEMAN® company

• 1991 - Founding of the ZEMAN® company, the production program is the production of work gloves
• 1992 - Start of production of textile workwear
• 1993 - Start of production of work, safety and military footwear
• 1994 - Start of production of footwear components, especially rubber soles
• 1995 - Start of production of footwear with special membranes (GORE-TEX®)
• 1997 - Expansion of production capacity with a plant in Znojmo, production of walking shoes
• 1999 - Production of footwear with SYMPATEX® membrane
• 2002 - Completion of development and patent of ZEMAN® AM mine safety footwear
• 2002 - Expansion of the offer to include work and safety rubber footwear
• 2003 - Significant reorganization of production and production capacities of ZEMAN®
• 2003 - Relocation and streamlining of production to more economically advantageous areas, especially Brazil
• 2003 - Significant expansion of the footwear range with new designs
• 2003 - Creation of a comprehensive range of work, safety and special footwear divided into 11 collections by type
• 2004 - Expansion of production - new partners in the Czech Republic, Brazil, India and China
• 2005 - Internet sales account for 99% of total sales

• 2008 - Completion of development and start of serial production of ZEMAN® AM-L footwear and ZEMAN® AM program
• 2009 - Start of cooperation with new rubber shoe manufacturers in China
• 2010 - Establishing cooperation with new EU suppliers
• 2011 - Launch of the new ZEMAN® e-shop, new collection for paragliding
• 2011 - Start of cooperation with Italian manufacturers and suppliers
• 2013 - Start of production of the new ProFire and ProArm collection, firefighter and military boots - 2014 collection
• 2017 - Start of sales of DUNLOP® work and leisure shoes on an exclusivity basis for CZ and SK
• 2019 - New collection of retro line shoes on DMS soles (direct vulcanization of the sole)
