Ledlenser D14.2 flashlight

The Ledlenser D14.2 waterproof flashlight is a designer lamp specially designed for professional divers. Compared to its predecessors, it has an even stronger luminous flux of 400 lm with a range of up to 200 meters (on land). It is waterproof to a depth of 60 meters. You can switch between two light modes (400 lm and 60 lm) and 4 AA batteries can last up to 15 hours in power saving mode.

The magnetic switch is specially designed to prevent any corrosion. The modular system makes it easy to replace the defective part in the event of a lamp failure. This system also makes it easier to clean the lamp during extreme use. In the event that the batteries leak, for example, you only need to replace the battery box and you can continue to use the lamp indefinitely.

Thanks to the bright yellow casing and practical wrist strap, you won't lose the flashlight even in the dark depths. The gold-plated contacts are highly resistant to corrosion and wear. The flashlight is covered by an exclusive seven-year warranty.

Gold-plated contacts

Gold is a very special material. Wars have been fought over gold, people have been robbed and murdered. Today, you will increasingly learn that gold is an excellent electrical conductor and is extremely durable. Its durability lies in its ability to resist corrosion and its high degree of chemical resistance. It is estimated that approximately 70% of flashlight failures can be attributed to corrosion damage caused by battery acid or gas. That is why LEDLENSER flashlights have gold-plated contacts. Thanks to this expensive measure, LEDLENSER flashlights last for decades.

Flashlight materials also differ in their electrical conductivity. Under high load, some conductors heat up, which increases the resistance in such a material, reduces the voltage and converts the flowing energy into heat, which is desirable for an electric heater, but in flashlights it is exactly the opposite. The energy supplied from the batteries must not heat the contacts, but be supplied to the LED diode. Many competing manufacturers use cheap contacts, which will have a significant impact on the flashlight's performance and its operating time. Thanks to the gold-plated contacts, the electronics of LEDLENSER flashlights will last intact for decades.

IPX4-8 resistance

LEDLENSER will not let you down in snow or rain.
IMPACT RESISTANCE
The lamps are resistant to falling from a height.
All lamps meet.
