Company Piexon was founded in 2000 by partners Raphael Fleischhauer and Jürg Thomann in Aarwangen near Langenthal, Switzerland. From the very beginning they have specialized in the production of pepper-based precision self-defense technologies. The patented and unique system by which highly effective and irritating substances are applied in liquid form was completely revolutionary and opened up new perspectives on the use of these technologies and forms the basis of all Piexon products.

The developers are continually improving all product lines and not only apply strict quality standards, but are particularly keen to ensure that all products are as effective as possible. Piexon products are significantly better than any electric shock weapon or pepper spray because it has more reliable, longer lasting effects that are more controllable. In addition, they are relatively affordable.

How does Piexon work?

Piexon is based on unique technology hermetically sealed cartridge that is not pressurized and therefore cannot leak. Defensive pistols are therefore much more reliable than conventional pepper sprays or similar agents. When the trigger is pulled, a percussion mechanism is activated, the firing pin of which strikes the primer of the pyrotechnic cartridge, initiates its initiation, and its expansion displaces the piston together with the active substance Piexol. This technology provides a high rate of fire of around 351 km/h (97 m/s) and a range of up to 7 metres. The active substance is dispersed to a distance of approximately 40 cm.

The pepper gun can also be used in confined spaces

Piexon pepper guns can be used outdoors even in adverse weather conditions, with no deflection of the projectile trajectory during firing even in bad weather such as rain, snow or wind. In confined spaces, the substance does not spread into the area, but only affects the aggressor or attacker hit. The residue of the substance in the form of small droplets quickly sinks to the ground.

Safety first!

Piexon defensive equipment is intended for self-defence only. They are non-lethal = non-lethal devices that are designed to exert a maximum stopping and incapacitating effect, whereby the risk of permanent injury is minimised by maintaining a safe distance. The safe distance is considered to be 50 cm for Guardian Angel and higher product lines JPX a minimum of 1,5 metres. Always keep out of reach of children!

Active ingredient Piexol

The active ingredient Piexol in liquid form contains 10% OC (Oleoresin Capsicum with 2.0-3.0% capsaicinoids in the whole solution), which has a burning potency of 4,000,000 SHU, the effects are: gagging, coughing fits, temporary blindness, irritation of mucous membranes and stimulation of nerve endings on the skin => the substance is a strong irritant. In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse repeatedly with cold water and allow fresh air to enter. For rapid decontamination, use decontamination spray with sterile solution. Never rub or apply ointments, creams or oils! If symptoms persist seek medical attention immediately.
